Welcome to the Learning Centre tutoring appointment system!  

1) Your username is your VCC student ID number. Example: 000123456

2) Your password is your VCC network password: your birthday as MMDDYY (unless you've changed it).
        Example: January 4, 1982 is your birthday. Type: 010482.     
This is the same password you use for myvcc, Moodle, or student computers. 

3) All emails about appointment reminders, cancellations, and missed appointments will be sent to your VCC STUDENT EMAIL. 

Late/no-show policy: If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you will be marked as a "no-show". If you miss 3 appointments (no-shows), you will be unable to book appointments for the rest of the term until you speak with the Learning Centre Coordinator.

Cancellation policy: You can cancel an appointment through the online booking system up to 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Cancelled appointments do not count as "missed" and have no effect on your ability to book future appointments.

Confidentiality: We will not share the details of your tutoring session with anyone outside of the Learning Centre without your permission. 

Service limits: 
To ensure that all VCC students have access to tutoring services, students are limited to

  • One 25-minute English appointment per day, four times* per week. Attending an English workshop counts as one appointment. 
  • One 25-minute Business/Math appointment per day, five times a week. Students may drop in a second time if there is space in the schedule

*this limit only in effect May-Aug during lower course enrollment. During Sep-Apr, students can access three English appointments per week.
